In our yoga classes together I invite you to move mindfully and connect with your ​inner self to find calmness and stillness within. Through different practices you will stretch and build strength, systematically relax, feel centred and at peace.

In each class we start with body postures. We allow the awareness of the breath to guide us. By using specific yogic breathing practices we move from the physical level of the body to the more subtle level, our breath. We then finish each class with a guided meditation, where we move even deeper, to the finer levels of the mind.

I believe that the practice of yoga is accessible to everyone and that yoga meets you where you are. I offer gentle and progressive classes.
In the “Coming Home” classes I assist you to connect with your subtle body. Through a focus on conscious movement that allows you to move into the calm side of your nervous system. The “Diving Deeper” classes are an invitation to deepen your experience of yoga in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We explore more advanced practices. The Hatha & Yin yoga mixed “Journeying Inwards” class is an invitation to explore different elements of yoga. It is an inwardly focused class where we direct the awareness on the subtle body giving you a chance to reflect inwards. We interweave hand gestures, Mudras, and acupressure points.

The classes are held live online, they are fully interactive. We are able to see and hear each other to communicate. I am able to guide you through the practices and give you feedback.

Gentle Yoga Nidra Online

COMING HOME

This is a perfect class for you if you are a beginner, are recovering from an injury or are someone who likes a thoughtful practice. We focus on moving with awareness, strengthening the body while exploring the foundations of our breath. This is very helpful in calming our nervous system. Which is particularly beneficial if you are experience anxiety or a very active mind. Each session finishes with the practice of yoga nidra, a guided meditation, deeply nourishing your nervous system, promoting a sense of calm and inner peace. No prior experience is necessary.

DIVING DEEPER

This class is suitable for you if you have been practising yoga for a while and wish to dive deeper into your exploration of yoga. It is physically more demanding. We focus on building strength and awareness working with the body, exploring more challenging practices. We systematically develop knowledge of more advanced breathing techniques. The meditation practices we explore bring us to a deeper level of being within. This will leave you feeling energised, alive, strong and centered.

SATYANANDA & YIN YOGA ONLINE

JOURNEYING INWARDS

This class offers a mixture of Hatha & Yin Yoga. It is for you if you wish to explore calling your awareness inwards through movement and in stillness. We inquire into our interoceptive awareness. The awareness of what we feel inside. We focus on noticing sensations within our physical body and on an energetic level, as we move mindfully in the poses or when we come to the longer held Yin Yoga poses. We are encouraged to notice subtle levels within. We finish with the practice of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation, leaving you rechargednourished and calm. No previous experience necessary but a certain amount of mobility is essential.

Commitment options:
Term Commitment – eleven classes for the upcoming term, starting in the week beginning the 3. October & finishing in the week ending on the 16. December 2022
You get access to a weekly class as part of the eleven weeks live online yoga course.
You’ll experience the consistency of practice throughout the term. If you miss a class, you can make it up on another day or week in one of the other classes during the same term.

Practice Package – all online classes for 4 consecutive weeks in the upcoming term, which starts in the week beginning the 3. October & finishes in the week ending on the 16. December 2022
Get access to all five online live yoga courses per week for four consecutive weeks during the upcoming term.
Have the freedom to choose which classes you would like to attend each week. This is a great option to begin establishing a regular yoga practice for yourself. You’ll have the support to built a routine by participating in all five live online classes each week.

Casual Classes – four classes during the upcoming term, which starts in the week beginning the 3. October & finishes in the week ending on the 16. December 2022
Casual classes are four classes you can use in any online course during the upcoming term.
This is a good choice as an introduction to working with me in a group setting.
Once you’ve decided that my classes are a good fit for you and you would like to introduce a weekly class on a consistent basis, you can sign up for a term commitment. This way you will get the most out of your yoga practice.
