Yoga in Castlemaine

The upcoming face-to-face yoga courses run from the first week in February to the first week in April 2023.
You have the choice of two different levels.

classes are:
– Coming Home, on Friday mornings from 11 am to 12.15 pm
– Diving Deeper, on Thursday evening from 6 pm to 7.15 pm

Over the Moon Yoga Studios, 9 Templeton Street, Castlemaine.

In the Coming Home, a gentle class, we explore connecting with our subtle body. Through a focus on conscious movement that allows you to move into the calm side of your nervous system.

The Diving Deeper, a progressive class, which is more dynamic and an invitation to deepen your experience of yoga in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We explore more advanced practices.

we practise:
– body postures, asanas
– breathing practices, pranayama
– & finish with a guided meditation

our focus:
– moving mindfully with breath awareness
– building physical strength & inner awareness
– using the breath & other techniques to skilfully balance & support our nervous system
– relaxing deeply with a guided meditation

This is a perfect class for you if you enjoy a thoughtful yoga practice. We focus on:
– enjoying a slower pace
– learning how to support ourselves in times of stress & anxiety with yoga / meditation practices
– discovering how to improve mobility in a safe environment
– exploring strength, balance, flexibility and inner focus
– using yoga props where needed to work safely with where our body is at
– practising yoga / meditation that feels nurturing, for the body & the nervous system

The course is accessible to all levels. No prior experience is necessary.
Build strength, calm your nervous system and soothe your busy mind.

Friday    11.00 am – 12.15 pm


This more dynamic class is suitable for you if you wish to:
– dive deeper into your exploration of yoga
– practise physically more challenging and demanding practices
– move with more strength while still maintaining the inward focus and the breath awareness
– focus on building strength and awareness
– systematically develop knowledge of more advanced breathing techniques
– practise meditation that brings you to a deeper level of being within

No yoga experience is required but it is more dynamic and a certain level of fitness is necessary. You need to be able to get on and off the floor with ease.
Feel energised, alive, strong and centered within.

Thursday         6 pm – 7.15 pm

Please know:
– If you miss a face to face class you can make it up by joining one of the live online classes of your choice during the same term. Simply let me know and I will send you the link.
– If Covid regulations change and Over the Moon Yoga studios become temporarily unavailable for us to use, these classes will transition online for that time.
